CHRISTMAS 2021 CHOCOLATE YULE LOG CAKE 2
INGREDIENTS
1 | Rich’n Smooth™ Chocolate and Rich’n Smooth™ Tropic |

2 | Rolled cake |
3 | Yellow and green food gel colouring |
4 | Red and bucket brown gel food colouring to make Christmas red colour |
5 | Leaf piping tips - small and large |
6 | Round piping tips - small and medium |
Directions
1 | Cut a thick diagonal slice from one end of the log. Lift the log onto a base board, then arrange the slice on the side with the diagonal cut against the cake to make a branch. Spread whipped Rich’n Smooth™ Chocolate over the log and branch. Use a fork to create bark lines on the cake. |

2 | Prepare coloured Rich’n Smooth™ Tropic blended with all the colours listed above. |
3 | Put red whipped topping into a piping bag with a medium round tip. Pipe a round circle on top of the branch. Then, spoon green whipped topping into a piping bag with a large leaf tip. Pipe big, fluffy leaves in 4 directions around the red circle. |
4 | To pipe the poinsettia flower, use red whipped topping with a large leaf tip. Pipe slowly and release your pressure halfway through each bract. Position the first layer of red bracts in between the green leaves. Add the second layer by piping smaller and shorter bracts in between the first layer. |
5 | To finish the flower, use yellow whipped topping with a small round tip. Pipe a cluster of small dots in the centre. |
6 | Pipe some small leaves on different corners of the cake. |
