MOTHER’S DAY CAKE 1
INGREDIENTS
1 | Rich'n Smooth Tropic |

2 | Sponge cake/mud cake |
3 | Yellow, purple, and green food colouring |
4 | Rose tip, small star tip, and small round tip |
Directions
1 | Ice the cake with Rich'n Smooth™ Tropic |
---|---|
2 | Use a small round tip and green-coloured cream to pipe the flower stems on the sides of the cake. Add little stems next to the main stems (see picture). |
3 | Use the rose tip and yellow-coloured cream to pipe the first petal with the wide part of the tip touching the stem. Place your piping tip at a 45°angle and pipe the petal in a fan shape, moving your tip in a mild up-and-down motion. Pipe the second petal next to the first. Pipe the third petal overlapping with the existing petals, using the same movement. |
4 | For the flower buds, use a small star tip to pipe yellow swirls on the stems. |
5 | Use a small round tip and purple-coloured cream to pipe the purple flowers on the smaller stems, moving your tip in a zigzag motion. |
6 | Use a leaf tip to pipe leaves along the stems. |
7 | Write “Happy Mother’s Day“ on top. |
